Remember

i want to

remember God's goodness

and great grace through hard times

i want to

treasure the memory

though it's bitter as well as sweet

how do i do this

my memory is so faulty

i lose what is close to my heart

i'll set up my version of memorial stones

something substantial to which I can point

can remember to say:

"God was good to me

He watched over each step

through dark, turbulent times"

I'll wear it close to my heart

and remember
