I like all colors,
but purple is lower on the list than most.
And so I was less than thrilled about this month's installment
of the Color Your World Challenge
until I remembered the lines
"For purple mountains' majesty/above the fruited plain"
from "America the Beautiful.
Ah, ha.
I have always loved the way mountains

What? Less than thrilled with the color choice? LOL How awesome that you still joined in the fun! I love how you found your inspiration. Such a pretty piece. The layers of purple making the mountains is beautiful!
Love it... and I'm not a purple fan either!
I'm with you on purple...but I love that song and so I think you made an awesome choice. Thanks for your sweet words on my grandmother's passing...they meant a lot!
Definitely beautiful words in that song. Love your purple piece!
That is beautiful. Now that song is in my head, but I love it, so I will be humming it all day long.
