My sewing machine may be broken,
but that doesn't keep the urge to sew and quilt away.
Lately I've been wanting
to quilt again
so much.
So I raided my stash
and pulled out
a collection
of two-inch-wide strips of fabric
that were given to me by a lady who is like a grandmother
when she was going through her deceased mother's treasures.
They are mostly dusty blues and rosy pinks
with a few greens and a couple of subtle purples
thrown in for good measure.
I am guessing that they are scraps that range
from the 40's or 50's through the 90's.
So pretty!
I chose a few additional coordinating prints from my stash,
cut them into more two-inch-wide strips,
arranged them all by length,
and rolled them into my own "jelly roll."
I think this will end up
being Sweet Pea's new quilt
when she moves into her big girl bed.
I'm having a horrible time deciding on a quilt pattern.
Which is your favorite?
Maybe it's a good thing my machine is down
so that I have some extra time to decide. : )

I love number two...
Number 2 is my favorite.
I have made a quilt that used the blocks in number 3. It's a fun pattern.
I love 4!!! :)
well, i like them in the order you posted them. 1 is my favorite. then 2, then 3, and 4 is so lovely also.
Yay for quilting bugs!!! :) I find it sooo relaxing! Can't wait to see her big girl quilt - I'm loving #4. O's big boy quilt is on his new bed, he's asleep now and I've just sneaked a peek, so sweet.
