Some of these art journal entries are a couple of months old.
I haven't had a lot of time to journal lately,
but what I have had has been so nice.
From December,
more experimentation with negative space:
"Snow had fallen, Snow on Snow,"
a line from Christina Rosetti's "In the Bleak Midwinter"
The snowflakes were fun.
A complainy entry from way back
when I had to drink crazy amounts of water
for my kidney stones.
Something very bright and warm sounded nice.

Happy New Year complete with glitter glue
that Little Man generously shared.
(Turns out fireworks are hard to draw!)
And two from this week!
I must be getting tired of winter.Something very bright and warm sounded nice.
Lovely morning drawing in the sun with some coffee.
Delightful.
Linking up with Jennifer's Studio Sneak Peek.

Gooorgeous! What a gift you have.
I was wondering, are you on Facebook? I'd love to link up there...I'm putting together a big collaborative project that I think you would fit really well with if you decide you're interested. I'm on there as Beth Morey :)
Oh I just saw your email posted on your site...I'll just message you there! :)
<3 I love each one. I am amazed at your diversity of style. And again, I love (and am astonished by) your use of negative space. <3
This is amazing! I have those CM pens - mine have never done anything like what yours do :-D. I think like this, but it just doesn't come out of my fingers like I see in my mind. Keep doing this, your children will someday cherish these glimpses into you. (I'm saying this 'cuz I wish my grandmas -yes, both- would have kept more)
Beautiful!:) Your detail is amazing! Thanks for sharing!
these are beautiful, christina! love your use of negative space. that is a lot of water! ;)
