it's finally getting warm in Montana

I've been refilling our popsicle molds almost every sunny day.
They're quick and easy, frosty-refreshing,
the kids are convinced they're a magnificent treat,
and since I use 100% fruit, they're nutirtious too!
What's not to love?
[Apple Cherry, Mellon Blackberry, and Mango]

I just fill the molds with whatever fruit juice I have on hand
or blend up a little bit of fresh fruit with my stick blender.
And sometimes I'll add a few frozen berries for variety.

milestones

I can't believe that it's been three weeks since I last posted!
May has ended up being a full month.
Plus I've been sleep deprived
and simply didn't feel like writing.
Here are a few highlights to catch you up.

 My adorable Baby Boy turned four months old.
He is cooing, and rolling, and chewing like crazy.

Sweet Pea figured out how to climb
onto the dresser at the foot of her bed (Eeek!),
and as a result we made the switch to a toddler bed.

Brother and I compromised on a perfect new hairstyle for him.
The sorta-hawk:
long on the top so that he can still play with it when he goes to sleep,
and short in the back so that I don't have to deal with bed head.

Little Man graduated from Preschool.
Kindergarten this fall! I can't believe it.

My mother-in-law graduated from college,
and we went to Utah to celebrate with her
and be there for the ceremony.

 I celebrated my sixth (I think?) Mothers' Day. 

I walked my first fundraising 5-K,
carrying Baby Boy in his sling.
And Benjamin met his 5-K time goal,
running it in less than 30 minutes!

menu

Well, apparently I wasn't quite as ready to jump back into consistent menu planning as I thought I was. The lat few weeks have been full. We've done some travelling and have all been sick for days on end. It's been a little rough. Today I'm feeling unwell again, and we will be travelling again mid-week, but I'm determined to at least try to follow a plan for this week's dinners.

Su-grilled chicken, rice pilaf, steamed artichokes
M-stir fry over brown rice
T-chili and salad
W-clean-out-the-fridge before travel
Th-Su-to Utah
