all things bright and beautiful

The boys received some rainbow scratch art sheets as a gift at their birthday party. I couldn't resist appropriating one. (Though, as Little Man told me, I really should have asked before using it. He's right. I should have.)

I had such fun scratching away the black to make brilliant flowers and curly-cues. As I scratched, the words of a hymn popped into my mind, and I added the first phrase since it fit with almost ironic perfection. (John Rutter's version is my favorite. Do give it a listen; it's worth your time.)
